Mobo choice: MSI 845g Max-L vs. Abit BG7 ???

With the SiS648-based boards not yet here, I've narrowed my motherboard of choice for a P4 2.26Ghz CPU down to two:

* MSI 845g Max-L ($108 w/shipping from Newegg.com)
* Abit BG7 ($124 w/shipping from Newegg.com)

Other factors to include:
* I'm looking for stability first and overclocking a distant second. (I'm assuming any stock perf differences are minimal.) I'll probably run at stock speeds for the first few months, and then gently overclock from there.
* Assuming I'm using a single stick of 512MB PC2700 Cas2.0 RAM (Corsair CMX512-2700C2)
* If I get the Abit, I think I'll be happy with the on-board sound. With the MSI, I probably won't be. So, the net effect is that I'll probably have a similar number of slots remaining, and the cost will be fairly similar assuming I bought a low-cost 6channel sound card
* Will use a GeForce Ti4200 card (not 4400/4600)

What's your advice?

I have owned the MSI board... it is pretty solid with some decent overclocking tweaks. If you get the MSI board make sure you flash the BIOS before you install any O/S and software. The microcode on the USB 2.0 has changed.
