hey all.. i was trying to set up a 2nd comp, and i had just moved. the mobo in question is an iwill kk266, 1.2 t-bird processor. this setup had been working a month ago, when i upgraded. now when i try to power it on, nothing happens! i thought it was maybe the PSU i was using at first, but then i finally had time to test out a known working PSU on it, and still nothing. definitely doesn't even get to try to post.. and i know some mobos have a little light that will indicate power/no power... i thought it had one, but i don't see anything lighting up. any ideas what the problem could be?? or am i SOL?

also, my friend's mobo won't post. it powers on, but then just hangs there.. no beeps, nothing on the display.. i tried taking out the mobo battery for 5 seconds, but that didn't do anything. any ideas or is this SOL too? i think it's some old ECS board, i'll try and find out which model

thanks for any help

Try with nothing but a single stick of ram and the video display. Maybe you don't have all the power connectors plugged in, or one is loose?

hm ok. was only running 1 stick of ram before.. would no power to say the HD make it not post? i'll have to check when i get home but i think everything was plugged in. i thought it would at least go *beep* and load the bios before giving errors, that's why i'm not sure why it isn't even getting that far
