I'm about to order an X2 3800+ with an XP-90, but I noticed that you have to use the backplate that comes with the motherboard (except for Gigabyte motherboards). I currently have the Zalman backplate that comes with the CNPS-7000 mounted on my K8N Neo2 Platinum, and I had to use a hairdryer to warm the stock backplate enough to remove it. So is it okay to remount it using the hairdryer to warm the backplate to stick it on again, or would you contact Thermalright and get a replacement backplate?
