Mobo and DDR2 question

The AMD socket AM2 mobos with DDR2 show "DDR2 Standard"


I was reading up on how the multipliers set the divider speed.

Now, there is 533, 667 and 800 DDR2.

I am confused, if I run DDR2 533 memory will the mobo or cpu adjust the speed or something ?
