Looks good!

Do you guys think that Dell or Compaq will have this card out by Christmas? I'm thinking of getting an X1000 or I8600 around that time.
 
More importantly, can you buys this chip personally to do a self upgrade? This is considering if Dell does not make it an option on previously released lappys and sticks it in a new model.
 
A birdy told me (but only one birdy so its a long shot) that even IBM is considering teaming it with Dothan... maybe not DFL anymore...

What are you talking about? That very site had customizable Pen-M's with the 9600 included.

The 9000 is available with the Pentium M, not the 9600. Those all appear to be Sager (Clevo) notebooks that Game PC is offering as well. 😉
 
Read post above, I was wrong. I guess we'll all have to wait.

Wouldn't the 9600 chip fit on the 9k series boards?
 
Very old I'd say as it seems to be way off but IBM has historically been slow to adopt and M10 hasn't even hit in quantities yet...

All in all I heard I rumor (from a person who has been right in the past) that I imediately discounted, only to bump into this... hmmmm.
