I very much prefer the solid build construction of a lot of "business grade" laptops, particularly with Dell, but they always come with Quadros or FireGLs. The laptop would need to be able to handle moderate gaming. Performance-wise, I have an idea where the various cards rank, but are there stability/glitch drawbacks to using the professional gpus? Or slow driver rollouts that cause problems?

The thing with the quadro is that driver problems with 3d applications are going to get priority because of the target market. They do eventually get most of the regular driver updates that target games but it isn't always at the same time. Sometimes it may lag a couple weeks.

yeah, mostly the same hardware under the hood, just different type of drivers (not catered towards gamers)
