Yep, from what I've read, the DFI board is one of the two best boards to use with the mobile chips (Abit NF7-S being the other one). Lots of features on the board, and they appear to like the high FSB speeds and multipliers greater than 12.5x.

*waits for myocardia to post about the greatness of the NF7-S board* :D

[Edit]Dammit! :D

So some of the newer boards are sensitive to sunlight? :D

Just slap a little sun-tan lotion an that to protect against the UV's.

What FSB's are you getting with the DFI's?

Well, it overclocks as well, but the people with a Lanpary B are having to use a bios not written by DFI, which I would never do. If that doesn't bother you, then you might be happy with the combination.

where did you read this? i have the same mobo with stock bios and it overclocks perfectly. not a single issue.

I have the rev a of this board and love it. I have run it all the way up to 230 without a problem on an unlocked 2500+ non-mobile. GREAT board. I think it equals the NF7-S in all areas but on-board features where in it rocks all other boards on the market.

You know, I completely left out a part in that post. Sorry. What I meant to say that if you want to go higher fsb's than the cheaper Ultra Infinity can do, you have to run a non-DFI bios. That board will do up to 260fsb with the bios that some guy wrote for it.;) Both the Lanparty and the Ultra Infinity will do up to around 230fsb (give or take) with the DFI bios, which is exactly the reason that I bought the cheaper Ultra Infinity.

So in other words, the Lanparty and the Infinity can perform the same, but the Lanparty can do a little better with a 3rd party bios?
