x1600 = 7600go. no significant difference at all

don't quote me on this but i think the x1700 and 7700go are the same as the x1600 and 7600go in performance, but they're cooler and consume less power.
 
The 7700Go and the X1700 are the die shrinks of the 7600Go and the MR X1600.

It can really go either way. If you have a choice between the two, just go with the cheaper.

how much power they (x1700 and 7700) consume compared to the others (x1600 and 7600)? is that really noticeable or is it like 3-5%?
