Just wanted to see what kind of speeds people are getting with their phones.
Please post your carrier, phone, and browser.

I am using the sprint windows mobile Touch pro 2 and the opera browser from my home

3G is about 900 kbps

wifi is about 2000 kbps

I would think that over wifi speeds should be faster but Im not sure.
Are these decent speeds? What are yours?
 
Using my HTC Apache running 6.1:

IE Mobile: 171kbps

Opera Mobile: 333kbps

However, that's only 2-3 bars of EVDO rev.0, so it could potentially be a bit faster with full signal. Not too bad a showing from an old phone, IMHO.
 
With my full at&t 3G signal here at work on my iPhone 3G, I get anywhere between 1Mbps to 1.5Mbps with mobilespeedtest.com. It's up and down.

6.97mbps? That's way too high.

edit: that first one is way too small of a file. Using DSLReports, I'm getting 556Kb, which sounds more accurate given my current connection.

edit2: With a full signal, I got 865Kb
 
I did a little more testing, and I actually pulled 1-1.5mbps in a full signal strength area. It was repeatable, too.
 
I am gettng 2.37Mbps on EVDO with 2 bars (-88 dbm) I am not in a location that I can test Wifi right now, but on my home connection (6Mbps DSL) I usually pull 4-5Mbps over wifi. I am on Sprint, Touch Pro, Using DCD Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM v2.16 and Using Opera 6.5 NFSFAN build
 
Blackberry 8330, Verizon Wireless, Opera and Blackberry Browser. Im getting around 8800Kb/s even with the 3MB files from Mobilespeedtest

EDIT: Just read the message at the bottom.. thats apparently the speed to my proxy 🙁
