Mobile Phone Tools SUCK.

Every time I install or reinstall the software ( 3.25b ) IT NEVER detects my phone, and if it does, I can't ever run the Multimedia Studio ( transfers Mp3's and such )

What a waste of $30.

When it does work though, it works well..

Anyone use it?

maybe it's the v3 that sucks?

Could be..

I like the software a lot when it works, but have tried everything I can think of to get it to work..

Reinstall, unistall.. Reboot before hook up.. Remove the modem it installs and retry..

No dice..

And it seems the software is somewhat working considering it charges when hooked through USB..

Without the Mobile Phone tools SW, it doesn't charge through USB.

that seems to be the 'popular' opinion around here,

It may be the phone, but the software was working intially..

Anyone with a Razr that uses the software here?

my sanyo had a little bit of a problem with this and bitpim using the USB cable I bought from radio shack.. I seemed to figure it out after a while.. it's just really extremely picky at what time you have to connect it

i used Mobile Phone Tools with my V300 last year, worst software ever. then I dumped it and got a Nokia 3230. their software is good, free, and most importantly, it WORKS without a problem.

It such a waste for $30..

But I have been able to clip some Mp3's that work great as ring tones, and it is easy to use.

I just cant get the damn thing to connect.

F U MOTO.

How about that?

Haven't had any problems with it, but then again, I made sure to install the correct drivers to be able to get P2K and PST among other stuff working to connect with the V3.
