Mobile Phone Losing Time Sync

I have a Samsung Galaxy Centura from Straight Talk and every once in a while (roughly once or twice a week), my phone's time loses sync and it'll all of a sudden be 5 hours behind the current time. When I notice it, I shut off automatic time, fast forward 5 hours, and re-apply automatic time. This fixes it until the next time it happens. I did have a Galaxy Proclaim from ST for about a year and a half but I can't recall it happening to that phone, and if it did, it was only a few times.

Anyone experience this before, or have an idea of what's going on?

This hasn't happened to anyone? My phone, as far as I know, uses the Verizon network even though I have Straight Talk.

The last time it happened, this past Monday 12/30, I had thankfully took off from work. The alarm was set on my phone for 2:00 pm, but due to it turning 5 hours back, I woke up at nearly 5:00 pm (still before noon, according to my phone) and it still hadn't gone off. What a frickin wasted day, lol. But at least it didn't happen during a workday (though I'd probably get a text before 10:00 am from my manager, now that I think about it).
