Mobile PC CPU in a desktop mobo?

I have some cpu pulls from old Dell laptops.
They are the following:

Intel
SL44T Micro-PGA2 750 Mhz
SL53L Micro-PGA2 850 Mhz
SL5CH 478 pin PPGA 1 GHz

Can they be used in a desktop mobo?
I don't have a spare laptop to test them.
Thought I might sell or use on a spare desktop system (linux box or web server)

I was afaid of that.
Can think of a lot of reason why they won't work but wanted confirmation.
Thanks for the comment.

Glad you like the quote.

Longer answer: No desktop board has the proper socket to fit the chips. There are some mobile chips that will work (sometimes) in desktop boards. Those are the mobile Celerons (not Celeron M) at 1.5GHz or higher in socket 478, mobile Pentium 4 (not sure about Pentium 4M) at 1.4GHz or higher, mobile Athlons in socket 462, mobile Athlon XP 2200+ or higher in socket 462, mobile or DTR Athlon 64 in socket 754, Turion in socket 754.
