Hey guys i just came across a Pentium 4-M , 1.8 GHz (BXM80532GC1800D) for free and I was wondering if I could use this in a desktop Motherboard? Like a 845 Chipset or a E7205 you get the drift. Any help would be great.

Yes you can use them, and apparently they are very good for overclocking due to the low mulitplier. IIRC all mobile chips default to a low multiplier, something like 13 (just a guess), but with good RAM, you can take the FSBs sky high.

Got a 1.6 running in mine PC at the moment, they default to 12x multiplier and 1.575 vcore - have tried 2 1.4's and this 1.6 and all have managed 2.4ghz without any vcore changes.
