MOBILE Laptops (overclocking) Intel vs AMD?

1st, gaming will be secondary, audio use first and firewire needed on laptop.

Wondering if anyone has experience with Celeron M/Pentium M (Centrino) AMD mobile 64 chips and how (which brand) overclocked well?!?

There are quite a bit of deals on P4 Centrino but with Intel Intergrated graphics (I only play unreal) but I don't think that would be good enough..thinking at least a ATI Radeon 9200 mobile...

Anyway, which brands of PC Mobiles have access to bios and overclock well.

It's a bonus if you know what type of firewire (Texas Instruments) etc are offered on some of these laptops.

Many thanks!

I can't really recommend overclocking a laptop, unless you want to become impotent from heat and radiation. In this case, Intel's best, but if you have a nice chip, AMD can overclock to become the best. I don't know the prices on these, so go with the cheapest, and if you must, overclock.

I don't think that you can do much if any overclocking within a notebook.

Audio is primary use, for what?

I have overclocked a notebook, but it got really, really hot, so I put it back in the old state. I believe it was a Pentium M running at 2 GHz. I got it to 2.5, but after 20 minutes I felt impotent. Luckily, I'm not :p.
