Hey guys, I'm using a Dell Inspiron 640m laptop, and recently had a few errors with corrupt files/windows, after using a recovery disk to repair windows, I've not been able to correctly install the drivers for my graphics card, if gives me this error
This essentially stretches the screen from a 4:3 resolution onto my 16:9 screen.
I've tried going to Dell's support website and downloading their drivers for my machine, to no avail, giving me the error above. I've also tried going directly to Intel and downloading their drivers for the machine, only for them to tell me at the end of install that they are not 'signed' for this machine and therefor cannot be installed, and I should go to my manufacturer.
For the record, I also get this error on startup.
I'm pretty much all out of ideas, and I was told you guys were the best around, so I'm hoping you can help...
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
