Haven't seen a thread for this. Since we have console gaming, PC gaming, Windows, *nix, and Apple software forums, wouldn't it make sense to have a mobile software forum too? Gaming & software, 1 or 2 forums for both or each, since right now all such discussion goes into the mobile devices & gadgets forum. With 500,000 - 1,000,000 apps out there now, I think that there's enough interest to get a forum. IMO it's inevitable that at least one will be created, and a bit odd that there isn't one yet.
 
I don't see enough threads getting made about them to warrant a forum of their own. Anything apple related gets tossed into the All Things Apple thread, so really it would pretty much just be an Android app forum which IMO is way too specific for its own forum.

No more fragmentation.
