I've read that AMD got a substantial market share increase in Mobile processor front vs Intel. I'm somewhat puzzled since product per product what Intel are offering right now is pretty good as compared to Turion or other mobile derivative of AMD. How can this be? The way I see fom review, some Pentium M and early Core Duo "Yonah" have a wide lead performance wise as compared to AMD. And with Merom release Intel surely made a hughe lap here. Given also the fact that for Intel they are now in 65nm vs 90nm of AMD which by all means can lead to Intel revenue surge in mobile compared to AMD. Do you guys have any idea?

Desktop AMD says have gained also but not that significant.

Server no question as AMD admitted that they felt so much pressure there.

AMD's pricing on its Turion parts is also substantially lower than Intel's Core/Core 2 parts. Personally, I'd prefer buying any AMD laptop over Intel because Intel's integrated video is horrible. Core 2 is very tempting, too, but it is significantly more expensive and still has that horrible integrated video. Now, I'm not saying that AMD integrated video is all that great, either, but I am a fan of Nvidia/ATI graphics (of course, I'd stay away from SIS/VIA).
