When test houses like Tom's or Anandtech run through full suites of benchmarks to characterize CPU's (my interest is mobile, but the question should be transparent to mobile vs. desktop), I assume they use automated scripts to run the workloads in series (i.e. they aren't manually running each benchmark sequentially).
Does anyone know if these scripts/test methods are standardized and/or publicly available?
Thanks!
