mobile/cellphone

I'm lookin for a mobile phone without all the bells and whistles (video, photo, games, etc). A phone that can phone, text message, light/small and with long battery life would be ideal.

Anyone recommend of anything recent like that about the market?

Thanks.

I know they are extremelly overpriced, overrated, overhyped, but I would want/would get a Razr, they are so small, I love it

all the above reasons r why I don't have one right now 🙂

go GSM. CDMA and iDEN are probably the DUMBEST ideas ever. if you ever have any plans of using your phone with another carrier or anywhere outta the US, go GSM.
Go with Cingular, get a Motorola v180 (or v220 if you want a cam) or a Nokia 3120 (or 3220 if you want a cam), great phones.

Edit, howardchui.com and howardforums.com are pretty good resources for buying a new phone

So far I'm liking my Samsung A670. It has a camera, but it's not ALL bells and whistles. Good size, fairly good reception, easy to use, and it was only $50 after rebate at Radioshack with a 1 year contract, which is $100 less than what I would have paid from Verizon directly. Check out places like RS, BB, CC, etc. for different deals than what the providers offer directly.

And if you're a brand new customer or switching carriers, I'd check out amazon.
