does anyone know how much performance difference will be? im leaning towards the am laptop cause of money issues... but if the performance difference is considerable, i may rethink my decision.

thoughts?

I would assume the C2D system would be much better for games; the X1400 Mobility beats the pants off the XPRESS 200. For dvd burning & programming, it'll likely be (basically) a push. Guess it depends how much those games are worth to you, hehe.

I'd take the C2D system I would not get get the upgraded display though that resolution is good it could not be handled with an X1400 in gaming. Also C2D is new while the Turion is used

The Intel kicks all kinds of ass, but is more expensive.... so it's up to you....

In reality you won't notice the difference if you don't play games or run other intensive code.
