Since these are unlocked I could still OC it and run on PC2100 RAM correct?
Trying to save my budget here.

Edit: Or for that matter if I could find an unlocked 2500+ non-mobile.

You can run the RAM asynchronously. Right now I'm running 400mhz fsb (2x200, w/ 11X200 cpu timings), and 266mhz mem. bus(2x133). (I'm waiting for my DDR3500 to come in.) (mb is Abit NF7-S.)

Yeah, but that destroys the performance of the Athlons.
Just a temp setup until my good RAM comes in. Would not suggest it as a permanent solution.

Same here... until I can save up some $ for new RAM too

If you're going to run async... crank up the FSB as high as possible. I use to run my XP2500 with PC2700 RAM at 221x10 with a 75% (4:3) RAM divider. Now I run it at 200x11 with the RAM at 100% (1:1).
221x10 was MUCH faster than 200x11 with an 83% RAM divider.

*EDIT* Now if only I could afford RAM that would run 220-230 Mhz :D

You sure a DFI Lanparty NFII B won't do it? :Q
