So I'm planning on getting a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS but I'm split on the interior color, so I'm going to get some AT Garage input. I'm looking at two choices. The exterior color is a Phantom Black Metallic.

I'm leaning towards the Camel (which my wife thinks is hideous, but she says it's ultimately going to be my car, so whatever).

I like tan and "saddle brown" interiors a lot...but my wife hates them. Either way, the black/dark gray interiors are much easier to keep nice...so I've been cool with getting them for that reason.

that black/camel color combo looks weird.
I don't like it, and remember that seats get dirty.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention... we've got kids. Very young kids. I guess the camel might be a problem?

I've got friends who are parents of very young kids. They highly endorse leather for the ease of clean-up. Are both of these options fabric?

First one looks much better IMO, no contest. That's actually a pretty nice car.

If you have kids...it shouldn't even be an option...and now that I've looked at the pics...that isn't a particularly well executed tan interior...the black looks much better.

I asked my wife what she thought of the new Sonata, and she said it looked like that deep sea pillbug:

(Hey--It's what SHE said.)

I hate dark interiors (light gray is as dark as I'm willing to go) so I voted camel.

My interior:

Then again I also would never buy a black car, so whatever.

Thanks, guys. I think I'm opting for the gray. It just makes the most sense with youngins riding along.

Looks very similar to my 2004 Civic Coupe (color wise) when my mother had her Acura RDX with a black interior I hated driving because of how much dust fucking shows on it. It was more of a gray dash but still!

God do I miss the driver seat of that car! Made me feel like a F1 driver! :D
