It probably does. The old "Daisy Cutter" produced a mushroom cloud. Most all big explosions produce mushroom clouds.
 
i recently read an article on this on msnbc......they'll show it soon....ohh yeah baby....make sure u bump this thread and post the video once it comes out!
 
I saw it on fox news. I was disappointed. I don't know if it was the distance it was shot at or what, but the explosion and overall effect looked rather small. Not very intimidating.
 
If you look closely at the trees(?) on the ground in the video, it appears that the blast (fireball) radius is actually quite large. Unless those trees are bushes, it appears to have utterly annihilated everything within almost a thousand feet of its impact point.

Edit: Or at least a few hundred 🙂

DAYM, too bad they don't show it from an aerial shot... I'd love to see the shockwave ripple through the trees like the Daisy Cutter footages.
