So, those past two games weren't emotionally draining for the Yanks, huh?

Marianooooooooooooo, way to go!!!!:beer::beer::beer::D:D

And of course, the Jays go and give up a run on a play that Wells should've made.

Let's see if he can blow it for the 3rd time. :p

Yeah after a failed attempt as a starter?

He is a great closer, I just think he's overrated.

that doesnt take anything away from him. Gagne was a crappy starter, but he pitches great in relief. Explain why you think he is overrated? he never had an ERA greater then 2.86 since 95.

Not even going ot speak to the overrated bs, not worth my effort. The 2 blown saves don't concern me at all, he goes through these funks every year where he blows a bunch of saves over the course of a week or 2 and comes out of it and is dominant for the rest of the year, and more importantly, October. Torre just has to back off using him and Gordon, get them some rest. Give Proctor, Prinz, and Tanyon more innings, keeping the pen healthy is more important than a few wins here or there.

Exactly, once Brown and company come back and start hurling some quality innings, Yankees bullpen will be virtually flawless.

What do you mean? I am not a yankee fan, but I would have to say he is def one of the top 3 closers ever if not number 1...

It seems like he averages 5-6 blown saves a year. He's got a couple more to go before he averages out :(.

I would still rather have him or Gagne on my team.
