Dear friends,

Will Pentium 200MMX processor work in a motherboard that doesn't support MMX feature?

Where on the Internet I can find information about old motherboards? A very detailed information, like what every single pin means...

Thanks a lot in advance.

A Pentium MMX processor shares the same socket as a Pentium Classic, Socket 7.

As long as you have a jumnper to select "P55C" on the motherboard, or your manual states that P55C is supported, you should be fine, although you may need a BIOS update.

Pin definitions of Socket 7 is not going to tell you anything.

Thanks for answering, but I was not looking for definitions of processor's pins... The problem is that ps\2 mouse port on my computer was lost long ago, and if you are aware each mother board uses its own ps\2 connectors for ps\2 port. It may be 5 or 4 pins. I am eager to find out how to connect my logitech scroll mouse pin to pin.... Any ideas?

Your second post has nothing to do with the first post. You are clearly asking about processors in your first post.

Use a PS/2 to Serial port connector, and then connect your mouse to the serial port.
