MMORPG...what are you playing, why, and are you waiting for any specific one to come out...

i've played UO since it went public, hated EQ and AC, am currently playing AO, DOAC should FedEx at my house Tuesday.
would like to try Shadowbane, and boy oh boy does World of Warcraft look cool....
your opinions...

I guess Subspace is the only MMORPG that I've played, if you can call it that. I'm waiting for World of Warcraft though before I start to pay a fee.

EQ was fun, until you get to the higher levels at which point it's a bore. AO sucks. I'm waiting on World of Warcraft, or perhaps some sort of true sequel to EQ.

I played AC for about a year, got bored of it and sold my chars. Played DAoC beta for like 2 weeks and it just went retail last week but I haven't picked up a copy yet. Don't have much time to play

early est for WoW is Jan 2004, but that was from one of them gaming mags. But more likely its pretty accurate.

Im trying to sell my AC account. Not going so well in selling it. Playing DAoC now. DAoC has had the best launch out of any MMOG to date.

i've had a UO account since beta days, haven't played much since that housing debacle last summer (i don't get it... lag superior didn't go down but they decided to get revert to pre-housing, so i went from having the L-shaped two story large house 2 screens from vesper (right on the coast too) to having one of those tiny 3 story mini-tower shop thingys with an open bottom floor in a swamp near trinsic (still on the coast though))


camelot looks really cool, wonder if i should play it? probably can't... my internet connection is subject to sucking ass most of the time.


i remember playing subspace for free back in fall '97... that was some fun stuff
