yea i thought it was my isp at first also but when i ran speed tests and played other games, no hit detection issues.

seems to be fixed right now. i'm 2k xp away from unlocking the is7
 
does anyone know if i NEED to have the DB in my garage to unlock the tiger ?
since the tech tree change. i no longer have the DB but have enough free xp to unlock the tiger so i can buy it at 50% off

or else i spend 2 mil to get the tiger , 1.3 mil for db and 700k for tiger
i guess either way i'll have to spend it if i want to go down the E100 tree
 
As for as I know, you don't need to have a tank in your garage at all to do the research for it and the components to unlock the next tier of tank.
 
man the top engine in the e50 rocks, i can get to choke points before most tanks now.
on lakeville yesterday was spawned north side and was able to go valley, crest the hill, and go around the little hill thing before their arty setup. from there i basically kept them from advancing valley at all as my arty would hit them as soon as they were spotted by me LOL

i'm pew-pewing my way through the low tier german tanks. Haven't decided whether I want to get an e-75/maus eventually or whether I want an e-50. Both look fun to drive but I've always had a passion for the KT.

Though the e-50 is about the same size as a normal KT and has the frontal armor to match... lol.
 
i'd say get the E50, it doesn't hit as hard as the e75 obviously but still packs a decent punch and is MUCH quicker.

right now i plan to go from the DB to tiger , tiger II, e75, e100
that is gonna be one long ass grind as i still need to finish the t44 to t54 grind. (just got the t44)
 
According to what I have been reading the Maus is better than the E-100 but the two are not in the same line. Apparently the E series got nerfed major time in beta test 2. At least that is what people are posting. After having one, I'm not all that impressed with the E-50 to be honest. They took away its maneuverability because it was too much as good as the T54. I been playing my T29 and KT the most lately. Having more fun and experience with them more than any of the higher tanks I have. Been using the T20 a fair amount too.
 
i want a KT also, and that tree leads to the E100 so we're kinda screwed there hahaha
the e100 has a more powerful gun but less armor/hp than the maus i believe.
 
Is the E-50 as bad as the P2 for taking damage and not bouncing shots? I finally had to take a break on the P2. Mostly working the American heavy line (T32) at present.
 
I have been getting in very lucky matches lately. Being top tier in the IS and KT and raking up credits.

I had to put the 152 back on my KV as it kept getting thrown into battles that the 107 does dick in. At least I can piss off a tier 7/8 tank with the derp gun. And I got a kamikaze against an E50 in my KV as well (something like a 2% ram).
 
The Tiger P is a lot of fun for a Tier 7 tank. The long 88 does great damage and the frontal 200mm of hull armor and the 120mm of turret armor makes it a whole lot more durable than a normal Tiger.

I go up against T-29s now and back them off and make them run. It's the best heavy in Tier 7 now if anyone wants to go that route. I highly recommend the tank.

the E50 for me bounces a lot, and boy does it take punishment. the weakness right now is the arty glitch where even splash damage will do 1400-1500 damage 🙁
the gun is awesome, it's so accurate and can pen most things, those it can't just switch to HE.
 
so I started playing this agai since i cough a slight breather from uni and it's endless assignments. Back from the beginning, it's rather amusing laying in a loltractor after playing is4 in beta. Fun times!

I'm wondering tho can you actually play the higher tier tanks without premium? I won't be getting there any time soon but it just doesn't make any sense to pay money for it since I probably won't have time for any games soon enough.

Tier 7 is my highest tier so I can't comment past that.

I'm in a Tier 7 Tiger P and it is pretty much break even w/o premium. Until you get the Tier 7's upgraded you'll probably lose money, but upgraded you should make a little money.
 
tier 6-7 is about the break even point. Tier 8+ you will lose money unless you have a fantastic round. Tier 10 you're guaranteed to lose money.

You can play them but you will need to play your lower tier money making tanks a lot to support them. This is by design. Keeps people from only playing high tier tanks. Even with premium you will need to support your higher tier (9&10) tanks with lower level tanks. Just not as much.
 
haha yea that worked up until they introduced the lowe
which was counter productive to forcing people to play tier 5 battles for $.
all it did was screw the matchmaker due to an abundance of tier 8's
 
sometimes i wish i bought a lowe @ 35 bucks, but i'm not paying 50 🙂
it would free up 3 slots that i use for credit grinding
 
The Lowe was a worthwhile investment for me. I never have to worry about money now unless I'm working towards a new tank purchase. I'm also one of those people who loves throwing the 5k engine consumable on every tank in sight. 🙂

Oh, I don't know if the sale is over, but I urge everyone to pick up a Ram-II (and a Matilda if you don't already have one). Great fun tough little tank, though supposedly Wargaming may have tinkered with its matchmaker weight.
