High tier tanks can be fun to play. If you are like me you play a variety of tanks in a variety of tiers (although lately I'm all about grinding to the Panther II before the next patch) so having high tier tanks is good but its also fun to play the middle tier tanks as well as the low tiers. Which tank will ultimately be your favorite? You won't know if you don't try as many as possible to find out.
I have a Lowe and you'd be surprised by how many hits do land on the turret. Which is where I'd prefer them to hit. If the enemy is shooting at long range he cant always place the shot exactly where he wants. Shots do go wide at times in this game. I have seen it happen. Depends on his gun, whether I'm moving, whether he is moving, and etc., If I can get my Lowe into a hull down position (the preferred position) then the enemy has no choice other than the shoot at my turret. Best thing to do when a Lowe is in a position like that is to move or call in artillery because when a Lowe is in that position he can take all kinds of hits on his noggin with only slight damage.
I been saying it since I got my Lowe but the Lowe is best used as a lay back and snipe type tank. Trying to use it as a up front on the line tank to absorb shots is only going to get it dead fast. Thing is that it is a heavy tank and team mates expect you to go up front like any other heavy and take the hits. If you don't they get rather cranky I have found. I ignore them for the most part and play to my tank's strength though. Just like they do in theirs. Whatever that may be.
Like Merad said though. I can jump into my Lowe. Never make a kill, die early in a fight, and still make more creds than most others on my team that lasted longer. Its a money making tank plain and simple. I don't know of any other tank that can make creds like the Lowe can with such minimal effort.
