Just cracked open my second pack of 100 this week.

Sorta like "new car smell", only nerdier. 😀

I've had one for a month now and haven't used it. More cost effective to use CD-R's.

I've burned a couple of cds for my girlfriend this week, thats about it.

I used to go through a few a day (certainly not hundreds like m4h tho), but now that I have the capacity to store everything, along with an mp3 player, I have no use for physical media anymore. 🙂 If I'm installing anything, I just leave it in bin+cue form and just use Virtual Daemon.

I too, am curious as to what you have to be using that many CDRs.
