wow... that sounds incredible. i'd like to try it, just once.
actually, on a similar note deep fried snicker bars have been coming up lately. they're at the la county fair now, if anyone's going to that, try to pick one up and report back.

425 calories... EACH! :Q

That's nearly as many as a Quarter Pounder with cheese!

I wonder how this compares to fried cheese sticks. I'll bet it's good though, deep fried anything is good. I still remember trying to burn a Twinkie back in high school, it just kind of shrivled up without combusting.

I can drive there in 20min if I wanted one.. No thanks it sounds disgusting. Imagine the twikie absorbing everything in the deep frier. Lots of people talk about them, it seems everyone I heard says they were to scared to try it.

I had one of these in a restaurant in New York. I got it as a joke :) It was served with strawberries, kiwi, and chocolate drizzle. It kind of looked like an egg roll actually. Everyone was taunting me "EWWWW--- I DARE you to eat that!" Then I took a bite----it was one of the BEST THING'S I've EVER TASTED!!!! It was incredible! It had a smooth vanilla flavor, and a rich melt in your mouth texture. I gave bites to everyone else at the table, and they all ended up ordering one!

Fried Twinkies are delicious, but don't go have a cholesterol test after eating one ;) It's a good once a month treat though. I haven't found anyplace that serves them outside of New York.
