I'm currently hot on Southern Rhones. I'm just teaching myself a bit and really enjoy the Cotes du Rhone blends the regions offer. There are some extremely summery reds that are awesome with a grilled sausage, burger, roast chicken, steak. Just really good and seem to perfectly compliment just about any grilled meat.
