Last time I tuned into RR she looked like she's been sampling the foods a bit much lately. While she was never skinny, she seemed to be pushing the boundaries of her wardrobe. Not that I'm complaining, she's still a hottie and can cook too.

IMO, She just needs to have her 30 minute meals show followed by 30 minute workouts. :)

Bah! Never trust a skinny chef... those guys that own "Rain" annoy me... Made to Order I think is the programme...

Now, Two Fat Ladies (Now, One Fat Lady Waiting on Her Own Heart Attack) was a great show... and you kow nothing went to waste in that kitchen...

:D

Oh the two fat ladies was one of the best. It's so sad that the bigger lady died:(

I like the fact that she's a little thick, although I think even calling her that is pushing it. She spoke at a Junior Achievement meeting in Oklahoma City a few years ago, and she was really beautiful in person. She has a nice, effervescent personality.

yes she is.

is that her real name?

It's probably her real name.

One thing I can't help but think when I see Giadda is that her noggin is huge for her body -- like a freakin' bobble head. A smokin' hot bobble head, but still...

-geoff

i think thats just an optical illusion from the wide angle camera lens they use in that tiny little kitchen they have her and a few other people in. stuff near in a wide angle looks really big, and stuff further away looks tiny. she leans into the camera a bit and so her head looks disproportionately large.

Has she ever tried anything she didn't like? She's a fraud in my opinion. If she says EVOO one more time, I'm liable to throw something at the TV.

I hate her so much. I'd hit her with a bus if I could. She annoys the hell out of me. Those pics have to be heavily modified cause when I see her on TV she is WAY WAY WAY fatter than that.

You must watch TV w/ sub-titles and no sound.

Umm, considering that she is preparing the meals that she felt were worthy of presentation, then it should go without saying that she likes them. It's not as though she just randomly comes up with something before each show; each meal is likely well-planned, tested, tasted, etc. You can't convey flavor over a television, so she has to show some enthusiasm for her audience.

Umm, give me some more credit than that. Think for a few extra seconds.

She's got two shows.

Aghhhhh!!!! She drives me nuts. She's way too excited about the food, and seems pretty dumb when it comes to plain conversation. ALthough, I would like to know what she did in Amsterdam after she taped $40 a Day there.

I've always been under the assumption that there's no way in hell a restaurant would allow you to bring a cameraman into their restaurant unless you were going to give it a positive review.

Reviewing something w/o filming it is one thing, but to let a camera in is a totally diff't situation.

You think that they sign a contract agreeing to give a positive review under all circumstances? I'd have a hard time believing that.

Ever watch Anthony Bourdain's show? He's got a camera (obviously). I admit, he is a bit pompous, but he has no hesitation when revealing his true feelings.
