Ok, I am stuck. Which is better? a VIA KX-133 or a VIA Pro 133A? Both have similar features but the price is quite different. Mostly this question pertains to the CPU and O/C stability. So, if you would please answer I'd greatly appreciate it.

It's a two different chipset for two different CPU.
KX133 is for Slot A Athlon and Pro133A(KT133A) is for Socket A Athlon or Duron.

I'd take KT133A for performance and upgradebility.

The via Kt133a is a tried and true preformer. Prolly the best amd chipset out there for the money.

Not really. It runs SDRAM only, and still interconnects the chipset components through the main
PCI bus, which brings a severe bandwidth limitation.

If you have to recycle some SDRAM and want upgrade headroom at the same time, then SiS 735
chipset is a much better choice.
