finally switched to a dual LCD setup from a single 21" CRT. LCDs are so much sharper than CRTs. My eyes are still getting used to it, but I love it

dual LCD 2

Now my questions are...
- where can I get good dual screen wallpapers?
- how do I get each LCD to have a different pic as the background? I have Display mode set at Dualview and I dont see where I can set each individual background. Im using a Nvidia 6800 vid card.

You will be needing to get "UltraMon" It is by far the best multi-monitor program for customization out there. Really nice toolbar options, I've been using it for about 4 years now.

thanks. it was part of the pleonastic wallpaper collection. I know that had a bunch of widescreen wallpapers but I deleted them when it got the zip (like 2 years ago) cuz I never anticipated going to a dual screen setup

215TWs, good choice

edit: never mind, they must be a different model - no speakers

Congrats on the dual screens. I went dual screens/monitors back in 1999 and have never looked back.

For a visually stunning effect, might I suggest you put two wallpapers that are of contrasting color schemes? Green/yellow or blue/orange or black/white. Looks really good, I gurantee you.

I use Ultramon for my triple 20's. Good app.
Welcome to multi-monitors; now go for that third! ;)

You're using an Nvidia card. Been a long time since I've used the Nview Desktop settings (using Ultramon) but I believe there is separate monitor functionality there to enable different wallpaper for each monitor.

Ultramon does it as well as MaxVista, Zenview and a some others. <- good apps for spanning desktop wallpaper and maintaining taskbars on each display.

MultiMon is free and worth a try.

Just google for dual screen wallpaper. Lots of multi-monitor wallpaper sites out there.

204b. not as nice as 215TWs, but for the price, these monitors are awesome. These are TN panels, so they arent as nice as 215TWs...but Im happy with these...for now :p

2560x1600 is the 30" LCD res.

You're looking for 3200x1200, not 3200x1600, right?

I'm an ultramon user like some of the other posters.

Is that background in your pics from the Lofotens in Norway? It looks like a place I've been to, Reine :)
