Hey guys, this is going to fry your brains, I will be suprised if you can solve this problem.

How do you connect 8 joypads to one PC?

I know it is possible but I'm trying to find the most economical solution to this problem. If you have any suggestions then please be my guest and suggest.

By the way, I'm thinking about using the joypads with HTML pages!? mmm maybe or may not be!

First of all, you are in the wrong forum.

Second of all, you are going to need to define "joypad". If you mean a typical PC gamepad, then the solution is simple: USB. You can connect 127 of them if you like.

If you are trying to connect some kind of antiquated hardware (atari pad, etc), then you are going to be looking at some custom circuitry, and a fair amount of programming. Using this approach, you are probably going to need to get a couple of serial port cards... or you might be able to squeeze it onto a parallel connector.

Either way this topic should probably be moved, and you are definately going to need to clarify things if you want a definative answer.

Not to mention that even if you do get them all connected and functioning (as simple as plugging them in with USB), you still may have issues with whatever software you want to use them with supporting that many input devices at the same time.
