I'm reposting this problem in the software/a/p/g/ section since it seems to be more a software problem.
I'm having problems with MMC, every time i try running any microsoft management console apps, it gives me the error,
"mmc cannot open the file ....
this may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a later version of MMC. this may also be because you do not have sufficient access rights to the file."
why is this happening? i definitely have the priveledges, i'm an administrator on this machine. i can't even run defrag. i have mmc version 2.0, and the files do exist.
can anyone help?
