When I run anything that uses the Microsoft Managment Console (Computer Management control panel, Event Viewer, etc.) and close the window, I get the following error:
MMC.EXE- application error
The instruction at "0x77f5171c" referenced memory at "0x00890010". The memory could not be "read"
Click on ok ot terminate the program.
It's really strange, because I've had it happen MULTIPLE times on multiple configurations. The only fix has been to totally reload the machine. I'd think it would have to be some application I've loaded after the OS, because it doesn't happen on a clean reload. I can't tell which application it is though. I thought it might be diskeeper 7, since it uses the MMC, but after loading it, it didn't do it. The last thing I loaded this time was Madden 2002, so I'll try uninstalling it, but I don't think that was it. Anyone else had similar errors?
