Im thinking of getting an MM-A900 because my contract renewal comes up in a week and a half. I don't really like reading online reviews because even if they say something, they always seem to miss that one thing that causes you to hate a product.

What i want to know is if the people on here who have it think it's a good phone. I don't really care about a phone thats coming out in 6 months thats going to blow this thing out of the water, I wanna know about this phone (or another one thats out now thats as good, if not better) and your personal experiences.

If you don't have one, just say what you think would be something wrong with the phone and give the A900 owners a chance to redeem the product.

To those who respond positively, thanks. To the thread crappers  take that.

check howard forums. Lots of great stuff to read about that phone, however, it also has some drawbacks. I debated between that phone (aka the blade) and the 940 I ended up purchasing. Check under the sprintPCS forums on Howardforums.com and you can find some great info.

*This phone, as well as the Samsung 920 both came out AFTER the 940. Both phones (920 and 900) already have firmware updates out there to fix some known issues, while the 940, a 2mp camera phone, has yet to receive some needed help. I could tell you all about the 940 if you're interested :(

Lemme know what you think of the 940. Can't do any harm...PM or post, it don't matter to me.

Pros:
The size.
EV-DO stuff is cool. (which isn't a 900 specific feature)
Signal reception is much better than any Sprint phone I have had before.
Bluetooth

Cons:
The battery life sucks
EV-DO is useless (for me anyway, even if it is cool, again, not a particular feature of the phone)

Overall I like the phone. The battery life issue isn't such a big deal, it just forces me to put it on charge every night when I get home. I picked up the phone a little bit before it was officially released, so I didn't get to read all the negative press that you will find on the forums, so maybe that tempers my happiness with the phone.

I'm a current Tmobile subscriber who is counting the days when I can dump T in favor of my good old sprint.
Feb 1 is my switchover date.
I'm wrestling between the A900, 920 and the 940.
mostly, I would use the BT feature for the headset and to sync files between the phone and my ibm T40.
but most importantly, I would want the ability to browse the web on my lappy through the phone.......would all these 3 phones give me the capability?

as long as I can take pics, sync easy between the BT headset and the phone and use DUN for BT and browse the web, i'm a happy camper.
so with the above requirements, what would u suggest?
