Chelsea is the highest paid team in pro sports. Total team salary is higher than the Yankees and there are fewer people on Chelsea's roster. 16 of Chelsea's players played in the World Cup this year. MLS is only 11 years old, still a very young league.

MLS = Major League Soccer

Every year in MLS, players are selected to be on an All-Star team. Usually, the best players in the league are selected to represent their club on 1 of 2 All-Star teams and these teams play in an All-Star game in the middle of the season. This year, however, only 1 All-Star team was selected in MLS and the All-Star game was a match against Chelsea.
