Mlech. PCI problems..

Mlech, the PCI card (a soundcard) won't fit completely into the slot, it hits against the case.. it's rather annoying.. is it possible this is just a really poorly designed case (the PS/2 mouse and keyboard things don't quite line up right, either..)

it could be most of the time the "plate" can be adjusted

also when you install the card cock it at an angle put your finger on the outside of the case as you start it in the pci slot then push (with the finger on the outside of the case0the tab in while pushing down on the peak of the card.

if you already knew this sorry

i once had one that was a b%*ch to get right in the slot and this was the only way to get it in

the offset on the ps2 holes suggest a way to line it up better by moving the plate (where all the holes from the motherboard are) a little and see if that helps although you may have to loosen any screws holding it a little

If you can't get it to fit after readjusting the plate, you could always remove the metal slot cover off of the card
