Since both are compatible with SATA3 they should both be extremely fast on a SATA2 connection.
 
I don't understand what the type of NAND has to do with this issue. Wouldn't the controller chip have more to do with this?
 
I have no idea, granted the Kingston uses Asynchronous nand and an lsi controller, but from what I read about the 850 Evo. it should smoke the Kingston regardless
