Hi,
I just upgraded my ram from 4, 1gig sticks of Crucial Ballistix PC26400 ram to 4, 2gig sticks of Corsair XMS2 PC28500 ram on a Gigabyte P35 DS4 v2 board.
I ran memtest and had to overvolt my ram by +.3 to match the stock rating of the ram to run memtest successfully. I thought this would take care of the issue of gameplay just freezing. The only way to get out is to force my computer to shut down. Any ideas? Incompatible RAM?
My video card is an ASUS Geforce 8600GTS 256MB Silent.
