I didn't twist shit. Maybe if you could present your opinion in a non-stupid manner you wouldn't have people calling you on it.

had you twisted shit, you would then have shit rope which could then be rigged into a shit ladder to escape this shit thread.

then why not bitch about Jeter being born in NJ, moving to living and growing up in MI, or A-Rod who grew up in in the DR & Miami (lived in NYC until age 4), AJ Burnett from Arkansas, Sabathia from CA, Texiera from Maryland, Nick Swisher from Ohio, etc...

there is no local pride on any team. You called out (intentionally or not) the DR and the hoards of "brownies" invading your local team while ignoring everyone one else on the team, and throughout baseball, not being local.

so...is "local" the USA--hence: xenophobia--or is it something else?

Uh, I called out NY vs Boston. If anyone on the Yanks was born in MA my argument holds as true as if they were born in DR. Pointing out that they are not even from this country just pounds the point in.

I know a lot of Dominicans who were born and raised in NY. Per the OP I'd love for them to play for NY. I hate knee jerk reactionaries whole cry out racism and xenophobia any time an example just might involve a non-white.

And yeah Jeder, exactly. Oh but he's part brown you racist, you.

that reminds me of the Green Bay Packers. ...while they certainly aren't local by any means (lol...Green Bay. ...nvm. :sneaky:), the town has legit pride for that team by virtue of the fact that every citizen owns the team. It's a cool model.

Commies.
