The Major League Baseball commissioner should personally thank the chicago cubs for what they have done for baseball this year. america's past time has been struggling for quite a few years now, and it still wont be back to its once high levels of fame, but i think the cubs have brought a lot of fans back to the sport. personally, i used to be a huge baseball fan, and hadnt watched in years. now, here i am watching every cubs game, and i think alot of others feel the same way. just my 2 cents. and go cubs

The people that make the decisions base it on only one thing, money. The more people that watch, the more money Fox makes. The best way to get people to watch is to televise the Cubs. Sorry, but the Red Sox don't compete.

That is because there are Cubs fans EVERYWHERE. WGN was broadcasted EVERYWHERE with cable. You couldn't watch your own team, so you had to watch the Cubs.

There were more Cubs fans @ Atlanta then Braves Fans.

The irritating part is that when I went to college out of state, I couldn't get WGN on cable. I had heard that you got it everywhere, but apparently that doesn't include D.C.
