MKV audio - Low Volume

I just got a batman begins, and mummy dragon file from a friend yesterday. It says 1080p edr, the problem is when I go to play it with my Media Player Classic, the background sound is loud and amazing, but the character's voice is low and nonexisting. What do I need to play it correctly ? Current computer spec ?

Athlon 4200+ x2 939 - 2.2ghz
2gb ram
500gb HDD
ATI 3450 ASUS 256mb 64-bit

I appreciate it if someone could help me out. thanks.

If you have FDDShow, change the audio setting to 2.0 or to something else.

To expound on this, you probably don't have a center channel speaker, which is where most of the dialogue comes from. Ergo, you need to set the audio decoder to downmix the signal to 2.0 channel sound, which will spread the center channel between left and right, and give you the volume that you're missing.

I can set up the fifth speaker and see if that will work, but my system is nothing fancy, just 4 speakers hooked up to a woofer, then that's hooked to audio to 3mm cable, and then computer. Also, I've tried setting the number of speakers to 2, and I hit apply, the sound did not change. Maybe because I have vista 64 bit that's why its not working ?

I'm not at home so I can't paste with the movie, but this is the setup.

You need to check speak 1 and 2 for the front center speaker. The center speaker row should have 2 checkmarks.
