Mixing Serial ATA adaptors

Hi folks. I'm about to make the leap and upgrade to an abit ic7-g or is7-g motherboard. I have two WD 120 GB drives with 8M cache that I want configure in a raid 0 mode.

I know the IC7-G comes with 1 serillel adapter, but getting a 2nd one seems to be a lot harder than the rockethead SATA adapter. Can I mix the serillel 2 and the rockethead without problems?

Has anyone mixed such vendors in a raid 0 array like this before?

Thanks,
Frob
