mixing same type RAM different brand

can you mix 2 different brands ie

OCZ PC2-6400 DDR2 800 4-4-4-15
PATRIOT PC2-6400 DDR2 800 4-4-4-12

? the tRAS is off but is it possible? No Ocing of course.

Single Channel operation
 
Yep, but I suspect they will have to be set to the higher timings 4-4-4-15 & if it's 4 sticks, the ddr2 voltage will have to be increased.
