I have a 2x1gb set of PC3200 DDR400 in my computer right now (g.skill) I am unsure of the latency or timings on this set. Bought it long time ago, and now I forget.
#1 Is there any software that will tell me the model of gskill memory I have currently. Also, is there software to tell me the memory timings I am using vs the default timings of the ram?
#2 Is it bad to mix different ddr40 gskill sticks? Say 4x 1gb sticks, but some are a different model or speed.
Sorry if my terminology is off, I haven't looked at memory specs in about 3 years. Your advice is appreciated!
