Mixing RAM - same brand, different product - will it cause problems?

I'm thinking of adding more RAM to my PC. Currently I have two RAM modules (I can install up to 4 modules). The RAM I currently have is: Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 X 1GB) DDR2-800 Dual Channel Kit KHX6400D2LLK2/2G. I would like to add 2 more modules of the same kit but the only online store I can find that sells that particular product is out-of-stock. I was wondering if I could add a different type of Kingston RAM instead and whether that would cause problems.

For example, there is this type of Kingston RAM: Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 X 1GB) DDR2-800 Dual Channel Kit KHX6400D2K2/2G. The difference is, the KHX6400D2LLK2/2G has CAS timings of 4-4-4-12 and is rated for 1.95V whereas the KHX6400D2K2/2G has CAS timings of 5-5-5-15 and is rated for 2.0V. I don't know all the intracicies of RAM so is it advisable to just stick to the brand and type of RAM my PC already has or can I mix the RAM around so long as it is the same brand and speed?

i put a pair of corsair ddr2-800 and a pair of patriot ddr2-1000 on my m2a-vm, they work and no problem for 6 months, but all 4 sticks not hit the rated speed, so i think as long as you dont oc either pair i think there is no problem.

Maybe maybe not, i had a problem trying to get 6GB of ram working together and had to stick with just just 4GB. I have 2x2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR800 5-5-5-18 1.9V, I then tried to add 2X1GB Corsair XMS2 DDR 800 4-4-4-12 2.1V sticks and it did not work. I thought this was a voltage problem as the voltages did vary by alot but i can run the 2X1GB at the looser 5-5-5-18 timings with only 1.9V and it passes memtest fine, but when i install all 4 sticks together i cant get it to pass memtest even at 2.1V. Makes no sense to me as both will work fine independantly of each other at 5-5-5-18 1.9v but refuse to work together i even tried them up to 2.3V and 7-7-7-24 timings and they just will not play nice with each other.

I used to have a bunch of random ddr ram in my old comp, and those worked out fine. I guess it's just a matter of luck.

i have a kit of 2x2gb Gskill alongside a kit of 2x1gb Crucial Ballistix, both rated for 2.1v operation at 5-5-5-15 @ 1066MHz. worked fine on a 680i, and on the UD3P i have it in now. about to swap these kits back to my 680i because i just ordered another 2 kits of the same Gskill ram since i didnt have any other DDR2 kits. should arrive sometime early tomorrow since i overnighted it.

kit i love: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820231166

The kit i have of that already hits 1200MHz at 2.1v at 5-6-5-18 alongside the 2x1gb kit of Ballistix ram, which by itself i have seen go up to 5-6-6-18 @ 1260MHz at 2.2v. two very robust kits i have here, and im hoping to get similar performance out of the other 2 kits i ordered. i havent tested my Gskill kit on its own just yet though. couldnt get the 680i stable with 2x2gb past 1200MHz, kept running into controller issues.
