Mixing RAM, good idea?

I just bought an Asus A7V board that came with 128m of PC133 ram. From my old computer, I have a stick of PC100 ram. Is it safe to mix the two RAM sticks on the ASUS board?

being that it's a K7 board and both will run at 100 or 10x when you oc it, it should all run at pc100. But in general, it's not a good idea.

You won't do any damage trying, you should be OK, it would be a bigger performance with 128+ at 100MHz than 128 at 133Mhz
